Soul food?

I am in fact sick.  Here’s the rub:  I’m not sure how I’m sick.  I was pretty sure it was a cold last night.  I was pretty sure it was a cold this morning.  I’m starting to think it might be allergies.  Really really bad allergies.  My allergies are never this bad though, and it’s not affecting my eyes.

Well, it wasn’t affecting my eyes.  Now that I’ve thought of it, my eyes are starting to itch.  That’s the problem I have with sickness, I’m never sure what’s going on, because a) I don’t pay much attention to how I feel until I stop to think about it, sometimes I’m not sure when it started, I’m only aware of when I started paying attention; and b) if I think about a symptom enough, I start wondering if that little thing I’m feeling is abnormal or not.  Any time I feel something, I’m not sure if it’s something I always feel or not.  I’m what you might call a “mess”.

I left work early today, because I was sick, and I saw this:

Christian Tacos

I’m not sure what to think of this.  Christian Tacos.  What could they possibly mean?

I’m a bit sick and twisted, so my first thought was quite literal.  Beef tacos, fish tacos, chicken tacos… Christian Tacos.  They’re people!  Christian Tacos are people!

It’s that, or these tacos are possessed of a soul, free will, and enough sentience to make a conscious choice to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and savior.  I’m not buying that one.  If I were willing to make the leap to taco sentience, I’d be completely ok with the idea of a taco soul, but I’m not buying it.  The act of taco-fying anything is enough to strip it of any ability to process cognitive thought.

So I’m left with my original thought.  This person is a serial killer who is killing Christians, dismembering them, and selling them on the side of the road wrapped in tortillas.

If I hadn’t of been sick, I’d have stopped and tried one.  I told you I was sick.

Be good to each other.
