I double dog dare you!

Is it wrong that I really wanted to take my electronic cigarette into the gym tonight and use it on the treadmill?

If I tell you that is was only so I could see the look on the other people’s faces, does that make it better, or does that make it worse?

I decided not to do it.  Today.  I’m not making any promises about tomorrow.  It’s always a possibility.

You may have noticed I haven’t written anything for CyberMonkeyDeathSquad in awhile.  I’ll be honest, I’ve been having a crisis of faith about the site.  I have no one to blame about that but myself.  It was partly a time issue, and partly a refocus of energy to other projects.  Like this one.  I’m wrestling with whether to keep it going, let it die the death it’s headed for, or merge the two.  It’s a hard choice.  I don’t want to think about it right now.

What I did want to say was I wrote a new piece today.  My friend Heather did hair and makeup on a new web series called Cell: The Web Series.  That’s the name.  It sounds kinda silly at first – The Web Series! – but it’s a great name really.  It gets your attention much better than just Cell.  And if differentiates it from the Stephen King book.  And the J-Lo movie.

Does J-Lo have a hyphen or not?  I googled it, and it seems to work both ways.  I went to her official web site, and wow does it suck, but it doesn’t seem like she has a FAQ page.  But I digress.

Heather hooked me up with a preview of Episode 1.  Everyone say Thanks, Heather.

Thanks Heather!

If the first episode is any indicator, and we will assume that it is, Cell: The Web Series is all sorts of awesome.  Go read the review for all the juicy bits, including some links, and then set your alarms or calendars or whatever the hip kids are using these days, to ring or ding or buzz or play the Numa Numa song, really just anything to get your attention and remind you that it’s February 3rd and you should go here, yes right here, to watch the first episode yourself.  Then come back here and tell me if I’m wrong.  I dare you.

Goodnight, childrens.
